Once you do the important things, that thing or situation where you might have had to humble yourself and serve somebody who doesn't treat you right, the door will open to the bigger things.
Pass the small test! They're getting you prepared to handle the bigger and greater! Jesus humbled himself, came to earth, and became a servant that he might redeem us. Ask God to humble you like He did His Son, Jesus, and that you'll serve as Jesus did. God promised that if you are faithful in the small things, He will trust you with more.
Sometimes the most seemingly unimportant acts of faith (the little things, if you will) will work wonders. If only we would get ourselves out of the way, open our minds to new opportunities and possibilities, and take a little step in faith. Remember, Solomon asked God for wisdom and God added wealth. Abraham asked God for a son, and God gave him generations. James 4:2 tells us, "You desire but you don't have, so you kill. You covet but you can't get what you want, so you quarrel and fight. You don't have because you don't ask God". The biggest problem a believer experiences regarding prayer is not asking, but asking for the wrong things, and asking for the wrong reasons.
If you'll open your mouth and ask God for something greater than you and your right now, God promised that He'll open heaven and pour you out so many blessings that there won't be room enough for you to store it. Expect the great! Ask God for strength and strategy and watch your little become big. Expect means to imagine; to look forward to; to regard as likely to happen; to anticipate the occurrence or the coming of. However, when you're faithful, you'll experience some haters in your life. Haters are constantly attacking your vision and attacking your ministry. Satan wants to reduce your vision and work toward the greater things.
But, you see, God is raising up somebody, somewhere with their own money, resources, and abilities, to help you. What's coming is going to be so much better that what's been. Don't worry about how big your vision may seem, even if everyone is telling you, "You're in over your head." Sometimes we need to be in over our heads because it demands that God be in it. However, the problem with some of us is that we've attached ourselves to something we were never assigned to, and now our vision is clouded and distorted. Haters are trying to get you to reduce the vision in half. However, God is sending you stronger leadership, better support, and committed investors to help you navigate the vision.
The Blessing is Already Happening! See it. Believe it. Receive it.
